It has a large round silver stainless steel case watch with a rhodium-plated finish that blends brushed and polished surfaces and measures 29 mm (1.14 inches) wide. It has a slightly raised, polished bezel that frames a line of black background with Dauphine hands and stick markers dial in tones of silver, small minute indexes. Other features include an automatic date display at 3 o'clock, scratch-resistant and glare-proof sapphire crystal domed, and water resistance to 150 meters (500 feet). It comes complete with a silver band link stainless steel bracelet offers polished highlights, which is connected by a secure push button closure. History History of Omega Omega watch begins in 1848, when founder Louis Brandt began hand assembling key wound precision pocket watches from parts supplied by local craftsmen in his principality La Chaux-de-Fonds, the northwest corner of Switzerland. Today, Omega is known for its rigorous testing of new movements, cases, and bands. Each Omega movement is tested on the wrist in existing Omega models, while various laboratory tests are conducted to determine the temperature resistance, resistance to shock and vibration resistance.
