I bought this watch Seamaster 300M Quartz medium size (I believe this model is now discontinued by Omega) directly from Amazon (not a third party marketplace), and I couldn 't be happier with it. It came with all the boxes, manual and documentation, and the serial number is written on the card holograph, from the original Omega. This serial number on the warranty card, hang tag and the engraving on the back of the watch (at the 7 o 'clock position where the bracelet is attached) all match up. There is no date of purchase or Dealer 's identification card on the Omega warranty, because Amazon is not an Authorized Omega Dealer. You get a 2 year warranty directly from Amazon, but you don 't get a separate warranty card amazon. I was told by Amazon to download their warranty page (link is on this web page) and to keep the original receipt. Amazon assured me that it is an original Omega watch, watch and their department makes sure it isn 'ta fake and is working properly. R r When I opened the red (Leatherette?) Presentation box and handled the first watch, I was really surprised about the top notch quality of this watch. It looks MUCH better than on any of the photos, and it feels perfect (and I 'ma perfectionist German-born). The bracelet makes hardly a sound, while you wear the watch, and what it does make subtle sounds, are very pleasant. My Brother 's rolex (from 20 years ago), which I Wore this for a while before purchasing Omega actually felt slightly lesser in quality compared to this watch. The Rolex bracelet felt kind of flimsy and clunky, and the Rolex CLASP was embarrassingly Crafted from Cheep, stamped, thin metal (which I was afraid might bend in time) whereas the Omega closing CLASP is rock solid, made from thick, solid stainless steel parts that open and close effortlessly, yet remain securely closed and locked. Also, when closed, on the inside of the bracelet, which touches your wrist, the CLASP is flush with the chains, which to me feels really nice. (Note: Judging from recent photos, Rolex seems to have improved their bracelets since then). I recommend you take the watch to a jeweler to have the bracelet adjusted length. I took it to a prominent jeweler in San Francisco, Shreeve, an Omega Authorized Retailer. They were very welcoming and did it for free. It took the service person, who has all the right tools and tons of experience, a few minutes to Shorten the bracelet. I 'm glad I didn ' t attempt it myself. R rit 's very easy to read the time on this watch, much easier than the James Bond style with the skeleton hands. At night, you can see the exact time in a second, because of the prominent markers hour Cable TV and fully solid hour and minute hands, plus a light dot for the second hand, the Bond style wheras you watch mostly gifts for everything, and You have to figure out, which dots belong to the hours and which belong to the tips of the hands. The only negative so far is that the bezel is very hard, almost impossible to turn. When the watch is wet, the bezel turns more easily. In spite of this, I highly recommended this watch, if you can afford it. Being an artist, I couldn 't afford it, really, but I bought it anyway, and don ' t regret it. I know it will be my life-long companion. r rUpdate I 've had this watch for over a month now, and I really love it. In those four weeks, it 's been only ca. 2 or 3 seconds slow. I 've also discovered, it ' s much easier to turn the bezel if I take off the watch, hold it in my right hand, vertically, with the 3 o 'clock / crown pointed toward me. With my left hand and grab the bezel at the 12 and 6 o 'clock points and it ' s really easy to turn the bezel this way. To cover a large distance and help myself visually. Toward the end, I count the clicks. IT Travel 2 clicks per minute.

Omega This time piece is a fine example of what is going to Omega. E 'smart and tough at the same time. But be aware that this is the small Seamaster Professional. Products in general is good that you can wear for many years to come.

The Omega Seamaster watch is a quartz end. I say this after owning for almost 3 years. It kept time without missing a beat and without any problems whatsoever with the closing stainless steel bracelet with gold. I wear it almost always - in the office and on weekends. I wear when I bike, do a work site, when I swim. I 've worn snorkeling in the Caribbean Sea, to a depth of about 15 to 20 feet without problems. I just rinse when you get sweaty and dirty. The operation is a simple way rotating bezel to track elapsed time. I like the resistance combined with simple aesthetics. R rThere are a lot of watches that go for this diver 's band in style with rotating stainless steel bezel and body. Those at much lower prices in general look cheap up close, and I suspect that won 't hold up well to hard use. One can say that everything about the high quality Omega is the second you take out of the box. It 'sa look quite expensive, but certainly more affordable than the similarly styled Rolex Submariner.

Omega produces this model with either quartz or automatic movements in both large (42mm) and medium (36mm) size. Although many feel that an expensive watch should be automatic, I want to show some of the reasons why I chose to buy a version of quartz. RFirst Don 't think that just because it ' s quartz, it 's the same movement found in quartz watches low price. Shark 's quartz watches are accurate and reliable. I 've used mine for a year without resetting and it ' s still in FIVE seconds at my other hand defined by the atomic time signals! I believe the Omega quartz standard is + / - 20 seconds / year. RSecond, I can take it one day or one week after not wearing it and I know will watch accurate and correct date. Please note that by watching this, a change in the date (for account today for 30 months) and the watch (to account for daylight savings time zone changes and years) without stopping or influencing the timing and minute hands. AN AUTOMATIC movement unless you wear every day, expect to have to reset the time (and date) every time you PUT IT ON. RThird, buying online saves a lot of money, BUT WILL NOT REPAIR Omega is under warranty. A quartz movement may be less likely to need repairs. RWhen I bought my Omega I spent a lot of time to think about the features of each movement. I agree automatic is a good choice with their own advantages. I JUST WANT TO GIVE THE REASON that people can choose quartz movement and to say that I am very happy with me.

I purchased a Seamaster and it stopped working in 6 months. The service center of the United States said it would not solve the problem because I didn 't save the warranty card. It cost me $ 400 to get if fixed. GL would never buy another Omega.
