Description

The Seamaster Planet Ocean from Omega provides exceptional performance and great style, both above and below water. Solid steel case frames a black dial with luminous hands and markers for great visibility, even in low light conditions, red-tipped luminous seconds hand and seconds indexes, and date display. Dial is capped with a virtually scratch-proof sapphire crystal and framed by a steel panel that rotates in the direction, in orange, with signs and fluted minutes edge to grip. A handsome and link steel bracelet complete the look durable. This Omega watch features self-winding Swiss automatic movement enhanced by a breakthrough Omega co-axial escape, a technology which ensures high precision and stable long-term accuracy is used. This is considered water resistant to 600 meters full (or 2000 feet). Omega watch Omega Story The story begins in 1848, when founder Louis Brandt began hand-wound lock assembly precision pocket watches from parts supplied by local craftsmen in the kingdoms of La Chaux-de-Fonds, in the northwest corner of Switzerland. However, the Omega name did not appear until 1894, after Louis Brandt had passed away and watchmaking traditions were taken over by his sons, Louis-Paul and Cesar Brandt. Omega watches have long been associated with glamorous screen and sports stars - the Omega Seamaster known to be the choice to watch James Bond - with current ambassadors including Pierce Brosnan, Nicole Kidman, tennis player Anna Kournikova, and swimmers Michael Phelps and Ian Thorpe. But Omega is more than just a fashionable watch. In 1965, the Omega Speedmaster chronograph was "flight-qualified by NASA for all manned space missions" as the only wristwatch to survive all United States space agency severe tests, including passing grades for extreme shocks, vibrations, and temperatures ranging from - 18-93 degrees Celsius. As the largest in history no doubt Speedmaster July 20, 1969 at 02:56 GMT, when recording the first steps of human on the Moon's surface as part of the Apollo 11 mission. Today, Omega is known as strict testing of new movements, cases, and the band. Each new Omega movement tested on the wrist in existing Omega models, while various laboratory tests conducted to determine temperature-resistance, shock-resistance and vibration-resistance.

Only 2 stars for this watch. Although I do not have this particular brand, i do have a Planet Ocean 2200.50.00 That Has The DOUBLE ANTI-glare (anti-glare on the inside and outside the crystal). Jam looks great, no complaints about it. R rTake notes before you purchase one of the Omega watch that has a double anti-glare. Scratch THEM EASY! Mine scratched after 2 months and Omega will not guarantee it. In fact, if you go to their website, they don 't even have a customer service number and said this: r r "Because of interest shown in the Omega brand, our staff replied that the number unprecedented investigation. Therefore it, you'll get a response time of at least four weeks. We thank you for your patience and understanding. "ONLY BY EMAIL r rI believe that after spending $ 4000 on a watch, that they should replace or at least return the cost imburse. They did not and do not, so you're stuck with a scratched watch. R rsava your dollars and get a Rolex or Tag. Omega customer service that 's is NILL!

'm Pretty Opinionated when it comes to luxury watches. This comes from spending 2 years in watchmaking school, studying directly under the guidance of a certified master swiss watchmaker who came here from Europe. Watches, especially mid to high grade Swiss watches are a passion of mine. I am not loyal to a brand or style or whatever. I judge by what they are, in terms of quality, functionality, construction and style. A watchmakers point of view. R rThis said he tells you that this particular watch is what I consider to be a "Best Kept Secret ", a sort of watch. This is an automatic watch (read: Mechanical - NOT quartz), and can function stopwatch. Chronometer as used here is a measure of accurate timekeeping, not quality - a point often misunderstood - and is used mostly from a viewpoint of marketing by companies such as Rolex. However. This movement in this watch is excellent in terms of quality, time to maintain the capacity, and construction - easily comparable to other Swiss movements from other famous manufacturers costing several times as much. This watch, properly serviced, will provide a lifetime consumption - and probably more. Definitely the kind of watch you pass down to the next generation. Meu R in all - and an excellent choice - especially for those seeking their first QUALITY Swiss watch purchase. R rDefinitely recommended!

The sport you look at the last 'll never need to buy. RThis R review refers to the Model 2218.50, XL version (45 mm case) with steel bracelet. The opinions of the movement, adjustment and reliability are also applicable to the model with rubber strap and leather / lizard strap. R rThis clock is sturdy, it weighs 9 + ounces (over half a pound), it feels and exudes quality and is bound to illicit a glance and a double take. The domed double anti glare sapphire crystal is super sharp and sometimes hard to determine is there yet. R rthe exterior is a combination of brushed and polished stainless steel, especially the horns of the Omega brand is mixed, it finished. R rthe screwed crown is adorned with the Omega logo and easy to open, the first position enables manual winding for extra power, the exhaust valve of helium at 10:00 is adorned with the periodic symbol "He ". R rClockwise turns of the crown in second position adjusts the date forward, the date can 't be adjusted backwards. Time adjustment is easy, no adjustment for seconds is available. R rthe unidirectional bezel rotates counter clockwise 120 clicks and lines up perfectly with all other markers, the impression of solidity of the rotation is nothing less than you 'd expect from Omega. R rthe luminescent material of this watch is a glow magnet, just a few seconds of exposure to sunlight or held close to a lamp will turn the face of this watch into a lighthouse! Aircraft combined with the hands and chrome bezel Split the subdials and this timepiece can be used as a signal mirror for low flying. R rthe Omega 3313 movement is identical to their 3303 movement except the 3313 has the co-axial escapement, this is the same movement inside the Omega DeVille and will be used in future models. R rthe accuracy of this watch is only surpassed by my Omega Seamaster Quartz 300 2221.80, my Quartz Omega never loses or gains a second and gains less than 5 seconds PO a week. The day I don 't wear, I spend 60 seconds liquidation and store it standing vertically for optimum movement. R rthe bracelet includes extending underwater all Seamaster, but has no convenience pins for rapid adjustment or for bodily weight fluctuation. It releases easily with double output pins and feels confidently closed when clasped. R ri 've done the tests of power reserve, it continues to operate approximately 43 hours with a total liquidation. Tirade r can also watch function with a chronograph officially finished running for 40 hours on a full wind, that is impressive. R rOverall, I 'd recommend this watch for anyone who wants an exquisite sport watch n ' is out of place in A, as all of the Omegas made before it, I expect this watch to endure for my grandchildren and their grandchildren.
