Omega watch Omega Story The story begins in 1848, when founder Louis Brandt hand Start assembling key-wound precision pocket watches from a stock supplied by local craftsmen in the kingdoms of La Chaux-de-Fonds, in the northwest corner of Switzerland. However, the Omega name did not appear until 1894, after Louis Brandt Dead World and watchmaking traditions were taken over by the sound, Louis-Paul and Cesar Brandt. Omega watches have long been associated with glamorous screen and sports stars - the Omega Seamaster known to be the choice to watch James Bond - with current ambassadors including Pierce Brosnan, Nicole Kidman, tennis player Anna Kournikova, and swimmers Michael Phelps and Ian Thorpe. But Omega is more than just a fashionable watch. In 1965, the Omega Speedmaster chronograph was "flight-qualified by NASA for all manned space missions" as the only wristwatch to survive all United States space agency severe tests, including passing grades for extreme shocks, vibrations and temperatures ranging from -- - 18-93 degrees Celsius. As the largest in history no doubt Speedmaster July 20, 1969 at 02:56 GMT, when recording the first steps of human on the Moon's surface as part of the Apollo 11 mission. Today, Omega is known as strict testing of new movements, cases, and the band. Each new Omega movement tested on the wrist in existing Omega models, while various laboratory tests performed to determine temperature resistance, shock-resistance and vibration-resistance.
Reviews
I 've owned this watch for about 3 months now and I ' m totally in love with her for the last two years I 've worn automatic watches as I ' ve learned to appreciate the craft of art in themselves. I had my eye on this Omega for about a year now and I finally had time to buy it, I certainly do not mean on your purchase every day, however, that I will never regret. This is my second my first Omega watch is a James Bond Seamaster 40 year anniversary with the logo 007 in several places. R rThis watch is quite exquisite in every detail, my purchase was not done through Amazon, but one of the local shops Omega and when I saw a real experience. R ri highly recommend this watch to any sports person is not dressed for my taste, but it 's big watch for the outdoors for dressy occasions I keep my special edition Bond watch, but I 'I was considering getting an Omega Deville hmm Maybe later. R rhope this review is helpful:)
This is my fourth Swiss movement, and it must be said, my darling. I've also heard a Ikepod Omega Speedmaster Broad Arrow and a day for F1, the latter of which I still possess, because it can see just so much fun. R rI fundamentally changed my Broad Arrow (BA) for the Planet Ocean XL (XL PO) and I 'm glad I did (XL is not for the walk a little brother version). The BA has launched a fantastic clock, but I think it's just a little too elegant for my taste. The PO-XL on the other side is a fantastic, great looking, chunky sports that grabs peoples attention to see, without blinking. It can be worn as a daily clock, but it has the class and still look great on this special occasion. The PO is beautifully made and comfortable to wear. I looked at the tags (Aquaracer and Link) Breitling (COLT) and some others in the price range and they just didn 't come close to this one in my opinion. I have now 6 months and timing is spot on, as you would expect. I tend to get bored with my clocks and sell them and replace them after a few years ago. But I can honestly say that I could just solve my Planet Ocean.
I am pretty stubborn when it comes to luxury watches. This is spending 2 years in watchmaking school, studying directly under the guidance of a certified master swiss watchmaker who came from Europe. Watches, especially mid to high quality Swiss watches are one of my passions. I'm not loyal to one brand or style or anything else. And judging by what they are, in terms of quality, function, style and construction. A watchmakers point of view. R rThis said I will tell you that this watch in particular is what I think is a secret "best kept for" a kind of clock. This is an automatic watch (ie: Mechanical - NOT quartz) and chronograph function level. Chronometer as used here is an accurate measure of normal time, not quality - a point often misunderstood - and is used mostly from the viewpoint of marketing 'Companies like Rolex. However. This movement in this watch is excellent in terms of quality, time-keeping capacity and construction - easily comparable to other movements in Switzerland, other famous manufacturers costing several times more. This clock services due, will provide a lifetime of use - and probably more. Quite lucky to see happen in the next generation. r Rall in total - and ideal - especially for those seeking their first QUALITY Swiss watch purchase. r rDefinitely recommended!

The last sport watch you 'll ever need to buy. R rThis review refers to the Model 2218.50, XL version (45 mm case) with steel bracelet. The opinions of the movement, adjustment and reliability are also applicable to the model with rubber strap and leather / lizard strap. R rThis watch is a rugged, weighs 9 oz + (more than half a pound), it feels and exudes quality and is bound to illicit a glance and a double take. The double dome sapphire crystal anti-reflection is super sharp and sometimes hard to determine which is right there. Foreign R rthe is a combination of brushed and polished stainless steel, most notably the horns are either Omega this mixed finish. R rthe screwed crown is adorned with the Omega logo and easy to open, the first position enables manual winding for a boost of energy, the escape of helium at 10:00 is adorned with the symbol of the journal "He ". R rClockwise turns of the crown in second position adjusts the date forward, the date can 't be set back. Time adjustment is quick and easy, without adjustment for seconds is available. R rthe unidirectional bezel rotates counter clockwise 120 clicks and aligns perfectly with every second marker, the solid feel of the rotation is nothing less than you 'd expect an Omega. R rthe luminescent material of this watch is a glow magnet, just a few seconds of exposure to sunlight or held close to a lamp will turn the face of this watch into a lighthouse! Combined with hands and divide the chrome molding subdials and this timepiece can be used as a signal mirror for low flying aircraft. R rthe Omega 3313 movement is identical to their 3303 movement except the 3313 has the co-axial escapement, this is the same movement inside the Omega DeVille and will be used in future models. R precision rthe this watch is only surpassed by my Omega Seamaster never Quartz 300 2221.80, my Quartz Omega loses or gains a second and the PO gains less than 5 seconds a week. The day that I don 't use it, I spend 60 seconds winding it and store it upright for the ideal movement. Bracelet R rthe includes the extension of all diving SeaMasters, but has no convenience pins for rapid adjustment or for bodily weight fluctuation. It releases easily with the release pin bed and feel confident when squeezed closed. R RI 've done the test energy reserve, it continues to work about 43 hours, with a full wind. Clock R rthe can also work with a running chronograph for over 40 hours on a full wind, that is impressive. R rOverall, I 'd recommend this watch for anyone who wants a stylish sports watch that isn ' t out of place in the context of, as all of the Omegas made before, I expect this watch to endure for my grandchildren and their grandchildren.
Initially I was a bit skeptical about buying such an expensive watch without a manufacturer 's warranty. But knowing Amazon I went ahead as they are offering a 5 year warranty for this watch. Anyway I have no idea about how good their warranty really is and that could be the real deal breaker here. R rthe watch is by far one of the very best dive watches you can buy. Wear it on with jeans or a suit and it will never look out of place. It being a certified chronometer COSCO is well within its specs of -4 to +6 seconds per day and I am loving it. it is also a very well made watch and a heavy one too. Buy it and trust me you will never regret it.
