Description

Set a course for adventure with this classic Omega Seamaster 300M stainless steel men's automatic chronometer watch, the free Omega's James Bond collection. You'll be able to negotiate all manner of adventures and still look stylish in the boardroom or the baccarat table. This highly accurate, self-winding timepiece is also a great diving watch, with water resistance to 300 meters (984 feet) and a helium escape valve, Full Version Which helium to escape from inside the watch when the watch is worn in highly pressurized environments ( such as long-term underwater work Evading the bad guys). The large silver Rhodium-plated case measures 41mm wide (1.61 inches) and it's complemented by the handsome stainless steel bracelet band. A blue elapsed time unidirectional bezel frames a blue dial that includes wavy dotted luminous hour markers, luminous-tipped skeleton hands, and a date window at 3 o'clock. Other features include a 48-hour power reserve and scratch-resistant and glare-proofed domed sapphire crystal. It's powered by Omega's break-through Co-Axial escape. Developed in conjunction with Master Watchmaker George Daniels, it's based on double co-axial escape wheel, a lever with three pallet stones and impulse stone on the balance roller, together with a free sprung-balance. The Co-Axial system reduces sliding friction exhaust compared with the escape lever and Malthus Ensures greater accuracy over time. This watch also features the Omega 2500 caliber automatic movement, Which has been certified as a chronometer by the COSCO (Swiss Official CHRONOMETER Control). Only 3 percent of watches produced in Switzerland are "chronometer-certified." To achieve this highly coveted certification, the movements are subject to numerous tests over a period of 15 consecutive days and nights, in five positions and at three different temperatures.

I 've owned this watch for about a year now and I ' ve been a little disappointed. I bought it brand new and has already broken / malfunctioned once, as I roll. I don 't have too much wind or too much, but at some point the clock stopped working. I thought I overwind - what it 's not supposed to be possible with automatic winding, automatic watches - if I let it rest for a few days and now the show has started working again! However, I 've noticed that the crown has a resistance much more than before, the more it recoils a bit when being wound. Yes, Omega is one heck of a product, but I 'm disappointed with the class C 2500. C 'is essentially a model based on the ETA. Although heavily modified ETA movement which based its Omega caliber 2500 is only a value of about $ 129 retail! Granted, Omega turns this movement into a COSC certified chronometer - and I must say a very specific (it works only 4 seconds, a fast day, which fits perfectly with the specifications COSC). Other than the movement, however, the quality of case, dial, hands, and the bracelet is unique! I just wish Omega would match with this model with a size slightly higher quality. Ultimately, c 'Its time to look beautiful piece. You 'll never get tired of seeing things - even when there ' t work. As I once read a quote on with this piece time "time is just an excuse. "

Mine is a little older so it is not co-axial movement. This mechanical motion seniors, I 've had it 5 years and it keeps very good time. I probably wear 60% of the time. I'm complexity reduces reliability, so I took more funtions with more hits. It will initally felt a little heavy but you adapt to it very quickly. I had absolutely no problem with him. The rotating bezel requires more force than you expect. I 'm sure that this is by design. The luminous hands are perfect for the cinema. Romegas are somewhat different. Other Omega Watch Wears things to say about it. There is sometimes an expectation that you know something about your show and other hits, if you carry in Omega. Not much but it happens. People who are just interested in jewelry tend to take another path.

My wife bought me this watch as a gift, and since the other reviews give plenty of detail regarding the quality and finish of the watch, I 'll give some insight into buying it from Amazon. First, my watch shipped from Amazon, so I can 't voucher for watches that come from Amazon ' s partner websites. In short, the watch arrived as I expected new in the original box with all docs including the warranty card and operating instructions. As others have mentioned, Omega might not acknowledge the warranty on this watch Because it was not purchased through an authorized dealer. Instead, Amazon provides a 2-year warranty. I decided the price difference between an authorized dealer amazon.com and was significant enough to justify going with Amazon. The watch is 100% real with serial numbers intact. Overall, this is a beautiful watch, I 've even received compliments on it from strangers. If you are looking for a full sized sports watch, I 'd recommend this Omega, you won ' t be disappointed.

Well, I guess I should have this clock. I've always wanted Cronometer Seamaster Automatic, but I never saw myself spending this kind of money, not to mention the price at an authorized dealer. Amazon sent me an email a week or so ago that had 12 months no interest select specific clocks. I searched and searched and finally pulled the trigger on a gorgeous blue automatic size face. Actually, I ordered on 31 July 2009 and for an extra $ 6.99 with Amazon Prime today had it at my door before 10.00 clock morning. It 'sa good thing I took advantage of the offer, because as of today, the "12 months " offer is no more and the price has actually increased! R rI did see a bit of a concern of the appointment of a "gray market ", but I had ordered an automatic ETA Luminox Amazon about 4 or 5 years and got lucky with it and also about $ 200.00 stored. R rI read the reviews here on Amazon, and even went in forums such as www.timezone.com watch and read. The folks at time seem to buy through our authorized dealers. Fortunately, by using a forum, I learned some very important things around the clock such as serial number and a little 'red dot "which is Omega watches from the factory. I was concerned about this and thought if I saw anything suspicious that I was able to return only the Clock Amazon. Man, I was happy after seeing it! Sure enough, all the serial numbers were there, the more cards that come with the clock on the small "medallions " that the clock is bound to open. The clock itself is the laser etched serial number in the appropriate place as well. I had heard that some "not gray market" watches come with all the things, what I saw, my purchase at Amazon. I know that it can only be covered under warranty from Amazon, but by hundreds, if not close to a "big " that 's fine with me. R RNOW to the small "red dot ". It is actually there, and it acts like a "bridge " between the case and the case back screwed. Find out if someone has opened the case, they came to break out of the factory when the little point in opening the case. I guess if someone really wanted they could take the time "paint" it again, but it would be difficult, since I 'm not sure that ' s paint exactly. R rThis is the new "007 " with the Co-Axial movement seen in him, and it is super quiet! If I didn 't know that it was a car, I ' d think it was a quartz. You can 't feel it move, either on the wrist. R rthe fit and finish of the clock is unsurpassed. I 'm not really sure why they do Rolex costs as much as it seems like a good deal of omega actually, although it ' s still an expensive clock. So far, as I write this review at 4:31 pm, it seems to the beat well. I 'll have to wait and see how it is tomorrow. When I got my Luminox I had to take it and it calibrated, as it was too soon received upon arrival, it keeps perfect time. I 'm hoping that these omega chronometer is not to be adjusted. You think 'd, as there have been a "certified chronometer ", you do not need, but I ' ve read by several people stopped them, even people that are purchased from authorized dealers. R rI can see why this model is so popular, it 's just a really nice time piece. The luminous hands and indexes as just as I said, and they shine brightly for a long time! R rI know that some say that they would never buy " gray market," but I 've always excellent service from Amazon and since I had no problems with my first view of them, I ' m really glad that I took advantage of their offer and bought this beautiful time piece! All in all, for the savings it was worth it and I 'll continue to buy pieces from my time at Amazon. R rhope this review helps anyone with concerns about purchasing an expensive period piece from Amazon. R rTake care..

I 've my own "James Bond " Automatic Mov ' t Omega for 9 years. 1 myself another Omega, but this one is my everyday watch. I 've have no problems at all. It 's never been serviced and still near perfect time, gains 2 seconds every 3 or 6 or 7 days. I have had it pressure tested twice during the year. The last time was 2 years ago. Still as tight as ever. My only complaint. The rotating bezel to me is very hard and somewhat difficult to open, and The Edge bevels are not really pronounced enough to give you good grip. The only obvious wear and tear of mine was typical hairline scratches in the band and grip. The watch case, crown, and very still appear flawless, and it is my daily watch. Some comments about the warranty. Standard Manufacturer 's Warranty is only 1 year, after your own self, unless you buy the extended Warranty Amazon. Personal, like most extended warranties, I don 't think ' s needed. If the watch works when you receive it, then it is still working a year later, 2 years later, and more. And remember that the guarantee does not cover accidental breakage or damage. I also feel the same way about the "General Maintenance / Servicing ". If it 's not broke don ' t fix it. If it 's not following good time, then look at getting service. The recommended "service between " is just a great way to lift money from your pocket. "Gray Market vendors ...", I see no problem buying from an internet vendor as long as you do your research and know they are reputable. You will save plenty of what you want to pay a regular store jewelry store front. I bought me in the internet and saved $ 800 on what local jewelry stores are charging, with the conservation sales tax .... I decided not to worry about not having any real warranty because the vendor had a 30 day money back guarantee. As I said, if it works when you get it, it still is working a year later. The money I saved more than outweighed a 1 year manufacturer warranty. One last note .... You will likely need it to fit your wrist. If you purchase from the internet, then just find a local watch repair shop services to high end watches, they do it for you. DO NOT GO as Mall Kiosk Watch activities, etc.? RWear it and Enjoy it. You can 't take it!

I had mine for over ten years. I, carpentry, gardening, sailing, swimming, etc. Just take it off for showers, don 't like the soap scum, the crystal looks new. I have to hit hard enough that I was afraid to look at my watch, not a zero. I've never been in the store. Very nice piece of equipment.

I bought this from Amazon directly, not the traders concerned. Clock arrived on time with all the appropriate packaging and documentation. Omega warranty registration card is inserted, but not branded dealers. As discussed in other reviews, you get a warranty Amazon - Omega is not guaranteed. I have the bracelet adjusted by Omega dealer in Atlanta for $ 35.00, they watched the same thing for $ 600.00 more. One thing that is not strange is not the case back screwed down correctly with the rest of the hour - the seahorse is not straight up and down. Maybe this is typical of this watch. Another thing I noticed is scratching the bracelet clasp seems rather easy. It makes accurate time and has a quality look and feel. Overall - I 'm glad I bought it.

I think the clock is a work of art, very solid and very well finished. It seems to keep very good time. My only concern of the whole operation, has to do with the guarantee of Amazon / support to the watch. I was having trouble with getting the date changed correctly and initially thought there was a problem with the clock. I called Amazon to ask them about it and tell them that there could be a problem with my watch. They said that someone in the jewelry department on Amazon I would call the next day to address my concerns or send me a new watch (I am within 30 days of purchase). It 'been 2 weeks, I am beyond my 30 days for exchange and not the jewelry department Amazon has yet to call me. I left another message. I hope to have resolved the situation with the functionality of date as it seems to work, but now I am surprised to support Amazon. I have not run into this before with Amazon but have not purchased jewelry from them befor. There may be a problem that buyers should be aware of ... even the Omega Seamaster Co-Axial I comes with a guarantee of Omega 3 years, but that warranty is void if somehow buy through Amazon and all they give you is a Waranty 2 years through Amazon. That does not seem to make sense or that person and the Amazon customer service had no answer for this problem and have not received a call back on that one or ... All in all, I would say the clock is a fantastic piece of jewelry is a bit 'worried cusotmer service of Amazon.

I actually own this specific watch (# 2220.80.00) and is my 2nd Omega (have five year old Speedmaster). It is a beautiful watch and like other Omegas you get comments on it. If you have not owned an Omega then you will be impressed by the feel and quality of the watch. For these kind of watches it doesn 't feel heavy at all but a comfortable feel to it when wearing. Accuracy? Let 's face it, a cheap $ 20 quartz is more accurate but it is rated the chronometer (don ' t confuse the term with lots of chronograph dials) and I gain 2 seconds a day. This is good because it is easy to update but stopping the clock a few seconds a day and watches tend to slow until the next cleaning. The Co-Axial feature is not a gimick (look at the Omega site for an animation on how this works) and results in the watch being a certified chronometer. Compared to my older non-coaxial Speedmaster (new ones have coaxial) here are my observations: r * With my older automatic you could feel the automatic movement as it spun around when wearing it. The Seamaster doesn 't have that moment and is quiet. When listening to it much more pleasant than the Speedmaster but I know most would say who cares. R * With my older automatic when you did rewind it it would offer a lot of resistance and almost cut into your thumb. The new one offers just a little resistance but rewinds the watch. You could wind it all day without getting callouses. R rAs for the warrenty: Others have pointed Out That you lose one year of warrenty if you buy it through Amazon. I also think you may not get the card certifies that it is a chronometer which may be important for some and not for others. I bought it through the Navy military exchange store but of course not an option for some. The advantage is that the military is a certified Omega seller. R ronly negative (maybe not for some): The watch dial is really more black than blue as shown in the picture ... looks more like black not blue wave wave. OK, maybe it is a dark Navy blue. Still not a deal breaker for this watch. Good value for the price. I 've found I didn ' t really need all the "bells and whistles " of my chronogragh Speedmaster. If you need reading glasses nice to have big broad dials such as this watch which is easy to read.

My Omega Seamaster that I bought in October, earning about 10 seconds each day. I did bring the Swatch Service Center in Toronto and 20 minutes were perfectly adjusted - for free, as it was in warranty. For now earn 1-2 per day, and that 's exceptional accuracy for a mechanical watch. R rThis watch is very handsome and has an easy to read dial. The band is very comfortable, and is characterized by not throwing out the clock as hair bands. The clock does not "Wander " on his arm like some, it is perfectly centered on the wrist. Meetings of sapphire glass that would loosen the shoulders in front of a crystal clock Ding normal or scratched. R RI believe that the movement is the most advanced of any mechanical movement in the world. It is precise and requires less frequent maintenance than similar brands. R Romegas have connected a home run with his co-circulation of exhaust his axial Seamaster series. I have the "Quantum of Solace " Seamaster Planet Ocean models, and is extremely accurate - and handsome. I Don 't see why anyone would pay thousands of dollars more for a Rolex, or one of "art " pieces that "man of action " will be dead wearing!

This is a beautiful watch, as well as all the watches made by Omega. Amazon sells them for 20% cheaper than the place I know locally.
