With a contemporary style, the silver watch case is topped by a unidirectional elapsed time bezel in black, which frames the black dial. The face includes large luminous hour markers, orange Arabic numerals at the quarter hours, large hands (with seconds hand), and a date window at 3 o'clock. E 'combined with a smooth black leather strap with contrasting orange seams. Other features include a power reserve of 48 hours a day and scratch-resistant and consequently resistant sapphire crystal. E 'powered by Omega's break-through Co-Axial escapement. Developed in conjunction with master watchmaker George Daniels, is based on cooperation double escape wheel axle, a lever with three pallet stones and impulse stone on the balance roller, together with a free Sprung-balance. The Co-Axial escapement system reduces sliding friction compared with lever escapement and thus ensures greater accuracy over time. This watch also has the Omega 2500 caliber automatic movement, which has been certified as a chronometer by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Control). Only 3 percent of watches produced in Switzerland are "chronometer certificate." To achieve this very coveted certification, the movements are subjected to numerous tests over a period of 15 consecutive days and nights, in five positions and at three different temperatures.

I'm pretty stubborn when it comes to luxury watches. It has spent 2 years in watchmaking school, studying directly under the supervision of a certified master Swiss watchmaker who came from Europe. Watches, especially mid hits high grade Switzerland, is one of my passions. I am not loyal to one brand or style or something else. I judge them for what they are, in terms of quality, function, construction, and style. A watchmakers point of view. R rThis said I will tell you that this particular watch is what I consider to be a secret "the best kept " kind of shows. This is an automatic watch (read: Mechanical - NOT Quartz), grade and stopwatch function. Chronometer as used here is a measure of accurate timekeeping, not quality - a point often misunderstood - and is mainly used from a marketing point of view by companies such as Rolex. HOWEVER. The movement of this watch is really excellent in terms of quality, time-keeping capacity and construction - easily comparable to other Swiss made movements from other famous manufacturers costing several times as much. This watch, properly serviced, will provide a lifetime of use - and probably more. Exactly the kind of shows you go to the next generation. R rall in all - and the wide choice - especially for those who seek quality in the first Swiss watch purchase. R rDefinitely recommended!
